Merry Hill confirms return of indoor dining at cafes and restaurants.
The Merry Hill shopping centre has confirmed that visitors will once again be able to enjoy indoor dining experiences, as the shopping destination prepares to safely welcome visitors back inside its restaurants and cafes for the first time in 2021.
From Monday 17th May, diners will be able to enjoy indoor sit-down meals at their favourite restaurants such as Nando’s, Five Guys, and Frankie & Benny’s.
The centre’s indoor Eat Central dining area, which is home to many popular eateries including Little Dessert Shop, Tasty Plaice and Burrito Kitchen will also reopen.
Visitors will also be able to dine-in at a host of local independent eateries that the centre has to offer, including the Vintage Tea Room at Oopsy Daisies.
Whilst over at the Waterfront, foodies will have the opportunity to enjoy an immersive Indian experience at family-run eatery, The Indian Tavern Bar & Grill, as well as, wetting their whistle at Dr Eamer’s Emporium.
Merry Hill has recently welcomed trendy bubble tea specialists, Bubblycious, to the centre, and the retail destination is set to reveal even more exciting new additions to its thriving food and beverage scene soon.
To ensure everyone can enjoy themselves safely, diners are also reminded to follow the rule of six. In-line with government guidelines visitors can sit in a group of six or up to two households maximum and must use the NHS test and trace app to register when dining at the centre.
Duncan Burns, Marketing Manager at Merry Hill said: “It’s been a long time since friends and family have been able to meet up inside, so it will be great to see our shoppers catch-up and enjoy dining in our restaurants and cafés as restrictions ease further.
“Over the last few months, we’ve welcomed a number of new food and drink additions to the centre, including Bubblycious and The Indian Tavern, so there are plenty of exciting, new options for our visitors to choose from as we reach another big reopening milestone.”
Diners are advised to check the latest opening times directly with individual eateries before travelling, as well as following the latest safety measures and government guidance when visiting the centre.
