Wolverhampton Fiesta gets fired up

Fourth year running for a fun-filled weekend.

Wolverhampton’s favourite funfair is back by popular demand for a fourth year running. Wolverhampton Fiesta will be making a grand return for a weekend packed with entertainment, rides and performances, perfect for all the family.

Organised by Harry Jones Company, Wolverhampton Fiesta will make a triumphant return to West Park on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th July, promising an unmissable weekend of non-stop fun. Previously known as the City Show, this much-loved local fair will once again put on a show like no other for the residents of Wolverhampton, bringing the party feeling directly to the park.

Harry Jones, Organiser of Wolverhampton Fiesta and owner of Harry Jones Company is excited to bring Wolverhampton back this July: “I’m so proud to be bringing Wolverhampton Fiesta to West Park for yet another year and we’re determined to make this one the best one yet! Over the past four years, we have become a summer staple for so many families in the city and as a Black Country born-and-bred business, it’s great to see the community come together for a weekend of fun.

“This will always be an event close to our hearts and we can’t wait to welcome everyone for another fabulous Fiesta!”

The two-day extravaganza will welcome a whole host of entertainment taking place on stage and in Wolverhampton Fiesta’s arena space. Entrants to the park will be welcome to watch some incredible performances: from the mighty monster trucks and the amusing nun Musical Ruth, to the Bird of Prey exhibition and the death-defying Wayne Vander – a stunt artist all the way from South Africa who will take on the Wheel of Death – the fiesta stage will be a sight of delights.

If guests fancy getting in on the action, there will also be an opportunity for them to give something new a go: they can try their hand at circus skills, take a white-knuckle ride in a monster truck, and zip-wire across the fiesta to take in the sights from above.

Of course, no Wolverhampton Fiesta would be complete without the giant funfair! Crowd-pleasers like the dodgems, bouncy castles, the Space Ride and ghost train, will also be open throughout the day for all to enjoy.

“Wolverhampton Fiesta is the perfect place to bring the whole family to enjoy a fun-filled day of entertainment, experience an eclectic choice of rides suitable for small children and of course, the big kids, whilst enjoying some great food and drink at one of our food stalls. What’s not to love?!” concluded Harry.

Wolverhampton Fiesta will take place at West Park from 12pm – 7pm on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 July. In addition to the entertainment, there will also be licensed bars, food courts and trade stalls available to buy from.

Entrance to the event on Saturday or Sunday is £3 (adults), and £2 (children). Rides are then individually priced, with all entertainment performances free to watch.
