Digbeth Business Improvement District bid to be discussed

Final call for Digbeth Business Forum event attendees.

Around 100 businesses from across Birmingham’s historic and creative quarter of Digbeth are expected to attend the next Digbeth Business Forum event, at which the future of the area and a proposal to become a Business Improvement District will be discussed.

The surgery, workshop and networking event at The Old Library in Gibb Street on Thursday 28th February welcomes opinions on what changes business owners and workers wish to see for the area, and how to go about making them happen.

The opportunity will bring Digbeth BID Champions, together with advocates, to present information on the potential for a BID area, the processes and the information required to be able to represent the many diverse businesses in the community particularly in the areas of culture, commerce and community.

3.00 pm-3.30 pm – Meet and greet
3.30 pm-4.30 pm – Presentations from: Kieran McInerney, Chairman of Digbeth Business Forum, Luke Crane, BID Manager Jewellery Quarter, Kate Smart, BID Manager Harborne
4.30 pm-5.30 pm – Surgery discussions and interactive one-to-ones
6pm onwards – Networking continues

The workshop event will be followed by a networking social at Ghetto Golf on Gibb Street, free for attendees.
