Quillow talk

Local company shortlisted for national award.

Childrens accessories company Cofi Coo, based in Edgbaston, has just found out that they are a finalist in the prestigious Networking Mummies UK Ltd Recognition National Business Awards in the Product of the Year category.

Cofi Coo is a children’s homewares brand specialising in Quillows, a multi-purpose blanket that easily folds away into a cushion. But that’s not all – Cofi Coo are more than a company that just sells Quillows. They are passionate about imagination, creativity and storytelling. Like Einstein they also believe that imagination is more important than knowledge, an unlimited and a source of progress. Thus, they incorporate all these values within their brand, designs and products.

Alina Masoo, Cofi Coo Co-Founder & Director, said, “We want to bring back and promote the old methods of play and storytelling, as it is a major contributor towards a child’s cognitive development. Our Quillows are used as a catalyst to encourage children to use their imagination to create, tell and share stories with Cofi Coo and friends. Making everyday a fun new adventure!”.

Networking Mummies UK Ltd has 32 branches in the UK and supports mums, dads and families in business with free networking events and affordable workshops. They provide online and offline support and they do not charge membership fees which means people can attend when they want. This is the third year Networking Mummies UK Ltd have hosted their National Business Awards to recognise the hard working mums and dads across the country.

The winners will be announced at their glitzy black tie awards ceremony on Saturday 6th May at Macdonald Burlington Hotel in Birmingham, where they will also be raising funds for Birmingham Children’s Hospital on the night.

Alina Masood said, “We are so proud and honoured to have been announced as a finalist. We have put in a lot of effort and hard work to set up Cofi Coo, so receiving such great recognition and appreciation feels amazing and very encouraging”.
