Deadline for food awards is today

Chance to recognise the region’s leading food and drink establishments.

Nominations for the Midlands Food Drink & Hospitality Awards are closing this Friday ,28th April, and local foodies are being asked to send in their recommendations to avoid theire favourite establishments misisng out on recognition at this year’s prestigious event.

The MFDH Awards will be taking place on 26th June 2017 and aim to recognise and reward outstanding restaurants, bars, pubs, cafes, hotels and more in the Midlands region. The awards will bring together all those in the food and catering industry in Birmingham, surrounding communities and the larger Midlands area for a night of elegance, recognition and celebration.

Categories for the awards include Best Oriental Restaurant, People’s Choice (public vote), Best Themed Restaurant, Best Chef, Best Restaurant Manager and more. If you or someone you know is deserving of one of these prestigious awards, then ensure to get your nominations in. After nominations close, the shortlist will be announced on the 5th May and the voting will open on the 8th May for you to vote for your favourites.

The MFDH Awards initially started out as the Birmingham Food, Drink and Hospitality Awards but due to popular demand, was expanded to encompass the entire Midlands region, giving all Midlands based caterers a spotlight and allowing more businesses, investors and food enthusiasts to get involved.
