In the first half Albion were well on top, nullified in the second but a horrendous missed heading opportunity from Salomon Rondon had fans wondering “How did he miss that?”

Taken all round it was, for me, a fair result – just another case that when facing bottom table sides Albion lack the killer touch.

This week sees another opportunity to improve our Greed League position. Victory over Watford would see Albion leapfrog the Hornets and sit not far behind the established Big Boys. Judged on Watford’s televised display against Stoke City this is a great opportunity, providing the team take their chances.

I can’t imagine many team changes but again, will it be James Morison or Nacer Chadli chosen as the play maker?

Naturally the decision relating to Tony Pulis’ financial dispute with Crystal Palace has been a major talking point both locally and nationally. Opinions differ; I know some fans have no sympathy , saying he’s got what he deserved but in the main I feel that’s a personal situation. All that matters is that he does a good, successful job with West Bromwich Albion, which to date he has carried out.

Pulis will be there on Saturday prowling up and down his area, barking out instructions, hoping that they’ll have the desired results.
