Coming to Artrix

Artrix goes literary, and comic, in the coming week.

In 1782, Choderlos de Laclos’ novel Les Liaisons Dangereuses scandalised the world. Set in pre-revolutionary France, the story is a web of lies, deception, daring and seduction.

Two hundred years later, Christopher Hampton’s irresistible adaptation has won the Olivier and Evening Standard Awards for Best Play. Screening at Artrix on Thursday 28th January this NT Live production of the play stars Elaine Cassidy (The Paradise) Janet McTeer (The White Queen) and The Wire’s Dominic West.

NT Live presents Les Liaison Dangereuses on Thursday 28th January at 7.00 pm. Tickets cost £17 (£14 under 16s and students).

The unstoppable comedy juggernaut The Noise Next Door is turning up the volume for their third national tour. These undisputed masters of off-the-cuff comedy work let the audience decide who the characters are and what the plot line should be before putting their own spin on a series of bizarre and hilarious sketches.

After a huge year, with their eighth consecutive sell-out run at the Edinburgh Festival, this show is set to be the biggest and best one yet and will be coming to Artrix on Friday 29th January.

Get ready for a night of mind-blowing songs, jaw-dropping characters and side-splitting punchlines.
