Halloween Spooktacular at Cadbury World

Tricks and treats galore.

Cadbury World is set to host a week of hocus pocus and ghoulish goings on, as its Halloween Spooktacular returns from Saturday 25th October to Sunday 2nd November.

The popular Midlands attraction will be providing a host of scary surprises for its visitors this half term, with frighteningly good fun around every corner. The World’s Biggest Cadbury Shop will be filled with a variety of seasonal chocolates, including ‘crunchy spiders’, exclusive handmade chocolate pumpkins and Screme Eggs, whilst the Cadbury Café will be serving some terrifyingly tasty treats too.

Children also have the opportunity to unleash their own terror on the attraction, with a fang-tastic fancy dress competition taking place every day during the week. The judges don’t scare easily though, so little ones will need to come up with a gruesomely good costume to be in with the chance of winning a prize.

The Scream Factor is back in the Cadbury World marquee by popular demand, with Dermot O’Scary leading this year’s hopefuls in the live entertainment show. Visitors can enjoy spooky serenades from Franky Frankenstein, The Vamp and Witchy Woo Woo, as they battle it out to impress judges Larry Walsh and Simon Howl and win a mystery prize. There’s a mixture of giggles and screams guaranteed – you wouldn’t want to miss it!

Diane Mitchell, marketing manager at Cadbury World, said: “Cadbury World is one of the most popular destinations for a family day out in the Midlands, and coupled with the spooky magic of Halloween, this half term is going to be one of our best yet! The whole team enjoy providing some frighteningly good fun for our visitors, and our seasonal chocolates are always a huge hit with children and adults!”

In addition to the haunting Halloween activities, the attraction is also home to a number of fun and interactive zones the whole family will enjoy. New for 2014 is the 4D Chocolate Adventure, which will have you diving into a bowl of liquid chocolate, soaring through the skies in a Cadbury Creme Egg airship, and holding on to your hats aboard the Crunchie rollercoaster, all as part of an interactive cinema experience.

Later in the year, Cadbury World will also be getting a festive makeover for a series of Christmas Celebration Weekends. Santa Claus will be taking up residence in his grotto, and visitors can also enjoy an enchanting fairy-tale pantomime, with a unique chocolate twist!
