Mary Berry and Mich Turner to appear at Cake International

Biggest-ever show celebrates two decades.

The Sugarcraft, Cake Decorating and Baking Show will be returning to the NEC, Birmingham from 8th-10th November bigger and better than ever before!  Celebrating its 20th anniversary, visitors can spend three days in cake heaven exploring all the latest ideas, supplies, competitions, demonstrations and workshops from the industry experts.

Baking legend Mary Berry and cake decorating extraordinaire Mich Turner will be officially opening the show on Friday 8th November.  Mary will demonstrate some of her favourite recipes in the Cake International Theatre offering a meet and greet for fans and book signing in the VIP area on Friday and Saturday. Joining an international line-up of sugarcraft and cake decorating talent at the show, Mich Turner will demonstrate her amazing technical skills throughout the three day show, imparting her specialist knowledge and taking part in a Q+A session.

The world’s largest sugarcrafting, cake decorating and baking show will feature more than 100 exhibitors from across the globe offering the very latest in supplies and ideas.  With everything you need including cutters, moulds, stencils and sugarpaste – your passions for sugarcraft, cake baking and decorating will truly be indulged! Find some of the greatest sugarcraft and cake decorating talents from home and abroad showcasing their skills in the three Demonstration Theatres. This year’s line-up includes Stephen Benison showcasing his ‘Vintage and Art Deco Designs for Cakes’; Marion Frost demonstrating her ‘Quick Christmas Cakes with Patchwork Cutters’; Karen Davies demonstrating her ‘Baby under a Crochet Blanket’ and Lindy Smith sharing her ‘Creative Colour for Cake Decorating’.

And there are lots of other fantastic features including:

  • More than 100 exhibitors from across the globe offering the very latest in supplies and ideas
  • Competition Classes with more than 500 cakes on display at the show
  • Wallace & Gromit launching their BIG Bake, supporting Wallace & Gromit’s Children’s Charity including Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Acorns Children’s Hospice.
