Tasting on the Terrace

Birmingham’s innovative meeting and event space thestudio hosted a menu tasting session to launch its new Summer dishes developed by head chef Noel Murphy and his creative team.

menu tasting session at thestudioThe independent venue in Cannon Street Birmingham invited colleagues and clients to sample seasonal main courses including thestudio – Pulled southern spiced farm assured beef served with pitta, cucumber salad and home-made BBQ sauce and for the non-meat eaters home-made carrot, cumin & mixed bean burgers with apple-slaw, fresh rocket salad and sliced tomato.

Guests who attended the lunch time event, which was held in the contemporary atrium bar and roof garden terrace, also enjoyed sweet treats of individual Pimms jelly with a mint and cucumber garnish and Honey and ginger peaches with strawberry crisps.

Emma Jennings, Managing Director of thestudio said: “We invite people to come and be ‘food critics’ for tastings to obtain honest opinions and feedback.

“We encourage an ever evolving menu and we update these four times a year to coincide with the seasons, our aim is to provide food that is freshly prepared and wholesome. We want our customers to feel the food has stimulated the mind and use brain-friendly ingredients in many of our dishes!  There’s lots of scope for people to be involved!”
