Giant chick flick raises money for breast cancer charity

Ladies across the region can treat themselves to a special screening of one of the nation’s favourite chick flicks at a special charity event set to be held at the largest screen in the Midlands this March.  

Mamma MiaBirmingham-based charity Ladies Fighting Breast Cancer will host a screening of Mamma Mia, at a special fundraising evening at The Giant Screen Cinema at Millennium Point on Thursday 7th March at 8.15pm.

All proceeds from this VIP event will go to the breast cancer charity’s £1 Million Pound Appeal, which aims to provide equipment above and beyond NHS means for the Cancer Unit at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.

Veronica Kumeta, co-founder and chairman of Ladies Fighting Breast Cancer, said: “This great evening will be the perfect treat for your mother, sister, daughter or girlfriend, and we hope that people from across the region will come out to support us as we continue to raise vital funds which will benefit breast cancer patients throughout the region.”

Tickets are priced at £10.00 per person and you will also get a glass of rose blush on arrival. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Ladies Fighting Breast Cancer charity. The drinks reception commences at 7.15pm and Mamma Mia will be screened at 8.15pm.
