Turkish Airlines named Best Airline in Europe again

Turkish Airlines was celebrating success at the recent 2012 Skytrax World Airline Awards for the second year running, as passengers voted them as  the best airline in Europe.

The airline was also named as the winner in other categories, including ‘Best Airline in Southern Europe’ and ‘Best Premium Economy Class Airline Seat’ for its Comfort Class seats.

Skytrax is a world renowned brand associated with air travel excellence in the 21st century, providing unique expertise to the world airline and airport industry.

The survey polled over 18 million business and leisure passengers from 100 countries, where the winners were announced at the Farnborough Airshow on Thursday 12th July 2012.

One of the fastest growing airline companies, Turkish Airlines has previously received several accolades at the Skytrax World Airline Awards, marking its name in the world aviation industry.

The airline won ‘Best Airline in Southern Europe’ last year and in 2010, as well as taking home the ‘Skytrax World Aviation Award’ in 2009.

Turkish Airlines fly daily to Istanbul from Birmingham Airport, connecting passengers to over 200 destinations including Hong Kong, Singapore and Beijing.
