The Wildlife Trust for Birmingham and The Black Country is looking for primary schools across the Black Country to get involved with Yellow Fish, an exciting new initiative which looks at urban rivers and streams and investigates how we can all help improve them for the animals that live there.

Supported by the Environment Agency, Yellow Fish is a national scheme that aims to raise awareness about the impact of water pollution on the wildlife of local streams, rivers, lakes and ponds.

The Wildlife Trust has produced and sent a Yellow Fish resource pack to all primary schools in the Black Country, inviting them to book a FREE lesson from the Wildlife Trust where an expert will come in and talk about local wildlife and how this and the local environment are effected by pollution. The lesson will focus on a local watercourse and make the lesson relevant to each school.
