Warwick Arts Centre have announced an interesting collaboration of musicians for next month.
The evening will see exceptional roots artists, lit within by their passion for music, accompanying each other on songs known and new.
The concept is simple: given the chance, musicians like to play with those they admire. Normally, however, they only get the chance to do this in the studio, or after hours. The Floating Palace is a unique opportunity to see these internationally renowned artists perform on stage together.
Of those participating, KT Tunstall and Eliza Carthy performed solo gigs at this venue last year and Krystle Warren returns following her solo performance here and a previous collaboration with Robyn Hitchcock Way to Blue: The Songs of Nick Drake, in 2010.
Howe Gelb is an American singer-songwriter, musician and record producer based in Arizona while John Paul Jones, has performed with Josh Homme and Dave Grohl as part of Them Crooked Vultures as well as his legendary work with Led Zeppelin. .
The Floating Palace takes place on Sun 12th February at Butterworth Hall, Warwick Arts Centre.
Tickets are £22 + booking fee and can be obtained from www.warwickartscentre.co.uk or by ringing 024 7652 4524.
