Customer service training boosts Birmingham job seekers

Local job seekers can benefit from new accredited training being offered by Witton Lodge Community Association.
As a qualification, the Customer Service Level 2 course equips learners with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in a variety of roles.

Employment & Engagement Support Worker Dellano said; “The objectives of this qualification are to help learners to develop essential knowledge of how to carry out customer service tasks, such as how to manage information and supporting events.

“It is a very worthwhile qualification as it can be used to pursue employment across a wide variety of different sectors.

“Effective, pro-active and engaging customer service is crucial to the success of any enterprise so this training will fully prepare candidates on their duties and responsibilities; underpinned by the knowledge and temperament that is required to sustain achievement.”

The six-week distance learning course requires candidates to work through a work-book with the support of their tutor.

An induction will take place prior to the start of the training to outline the contents of the course; which is a follows:

• Understanding customer service

• How legal and ethical requirements relate to customer service

• How to deliver effective customer service

• The management of customer service information

• Customer service delivery

• The relationship between customer service and a brand

The work-book will also include a series of activities to support candidates’ learning.
