Applications open for PA awards

Recognition for shining workplace stars.

Applications are now open for the renowned West Midlands PA Forum Awards for a third consecutive year.

Sponsored by Birmingham’s leading recruitment agency for support roles, Katie Bard, part of the Angela Mortimer Group, the West Midlands PA Forum Awards encourages members of the regional business community to nominate and celebrate outstanding individuals within their organisation, whilst providing the opportunity for employers to raise their profile within a competitive market place and at a time when many organisations are making dynamic changes.

Previously only open to businesses based in Birmingham, this is the first year that the PA Forum Awards have been extended to include firms within the entire West Midlands region, demonstrating both its popularity and success.

Kam Vara, Director of Katie Bard, has also been confirmed as a member of the judging panel, joining four renowned leaders from the West Midlands business community.

Kam Vara confirmed: “Having specialised in the recruitment of office support roles for over 18 years, we at Katie Bard have a unique insight into the fundamental importance of Personal Assistants, and their capability to support the smooth operation and success of every organisation.”

“Ultimately, people are fundamental to the success of any business, where supported skill and talent gives clear competitive edge. Therefore, the PA Forum Awards are an excellent opportunity for businesses to nominate and celebrate outstanding individuals, while demonstrating that your organisation offers valuable recognition for those who have made a significant contribution to the workplace. On behalf of Katie Bard, I am therefore delighted to be judging this year’s applications, particularly as entry has now expanded to the entire West Midlands region.”

In 2019, the PA Forum Awards welcomed over 350 guests to an awards ceremony in July, celebrating 33 finalists, with ten trophies awarded to either personal assistants, a team of PAs, EAs, VAs or Executive Business Support professionals in one or more categories.

Daniel Skermer, Founder of Birmingham’s PA Forum added: “Having recently rebranded as the West Midlands PA Awards, we are proud to have celebrated over the past two years 58 finalists and 15 winners of all experience levels in an Executive and Business Support role.”

“The Awards are an opportunity for you or your colleagues to celebrate and recognise all the achievements of the unsung heroes of the business, it takes just a few minutes to share your feedback with us as to why your nominee should win.”

Applications close on the 30th November and the final event will take place on the 17th July 2020. For more information visit here
