Peaky Blinders have arrived at The Ivy Temple Row

Restaurant unveils new cocktail range to mark festival.

By order of the Peaky Blinders, prepare to be taken back to the roaring twenties at The Ivy Temple Row this weekend.

With Birmingham set to welcome its first ever Peaky Blinders Festival on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th September, staff at The Ivy Temple Row are getting ready to dust off their flat caps and iron out their waistcoats in celebration of the hit BBC drama.

Diners can expect to see the show brought to life, whilst hosts and bartenders will be dressed in Peaky Blinders inspired outfits throughout the weekend. A three-piece live band will then transport visitors back to 1920s Birmingham with a rendition of the show’s most recognisable tracks alongside iconic music from the era.

The Ivy Temple Row’s bar team will also be serving up a duo of unique cocktails from Wednesday 11th to Wednesday, 25th September, including the limited-edition Tommy Gun priced at £9.50. A blend of Jamesons Irish Whiskey, orange bitters and black ale syrup will tell you who’s real and who isn’t, while the special Lady Shelby, £9.75, recipe is set to offer the perfect mix of gin and Prosecco, married with the sharp edge of red and black berries.

Liz Burton, General Manager at The Ivy Temple Row, says: “We’re very excited to be celebrating a show that all our staff know and love, as the city prepares to host its first official Peaky Blinders festival. It’s a great opportunity for us to look back and celebrate the history of Birmingham and we look forward to raising a glass with our guests.”

The Legitimate Peaky Blinders Festival will take place at Digbeth Arena on Saturday 14th September and Sunday 15th September.
