TV comedy names coming to Sutton

Tom Stade and Paul Sinha to appear at Town Hall.

TV comics Tom Stade and Paul Sinha are the latest big names to be confirmed as appearing in Sutton over the next few months.

Both will headline the latest announced instalments of Live At The Town Hall at Sutton Coldfield Town Hall, which has already hosted the likes of James Acaster and Omid Djalili.

Cult Canadian comic Stade (front page pic), who has appeared on the likes of Live At The Apollo and Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, will headline at the town hall on Friday November 15th.

Stand-up Sinha (pictured), who is best known as The Sinnerman on ITV quiz show The Chase, will top the bill on Friday March 6th.

Tickets are now on sale for both shows – with a special £15 early bird offer running until the end of July – and are expected to be snapped up quickly.

Stade will be supported on November 15th by musical comic Christian Reilly and the irrepressible Johnny ‘Showaddywaddy’ Sorrow.

Sinha, who also recently starred on Dave’s Taskmaster, will be supported on March 6th by Dudley’s Sean Percival, a former welder who headlines all the big comedy clubs, and unique 1930s throwback Troy Hawke.

Both shows will be hosted by regular MC Wayne Beese, who said: “We’re delighted to be bringing Tom and Paul to Sutton Coldfield.

“They are genuinely two of the best stand-ups around, and the supports for both shows are among our most requested acts and regularly headline gigs for us.

“The line-ups are incredible and Sutton folk have supported these shows amazingly so far, so we would urge people to come along and turn out again.”

The show is being put on by Funny Beeseness, who started bringing live comedy shows to Sutton Coldfield at the end of last year.

More than 300 tickets have already been snapped up for the next show at the hall on Friday August 23rd, where raving spoof reporter and internet sensation Jonathan Pie headlines. He is supported by Erdington girl Jo Enright, as seen on the likes of The Job Lot and Phoenix Nights, and barmy prop duo and Jason Manford tour support, The Raymond & Mr Timpkins Revue.
