Murder on the Terrace

Foghorn Unscripted return to Winterbourne House & Garden for tea and mayhem.

Following last year’s sell out performances Foghorn Unscripted return with their hilarious show, Murder on the Terrace, to the historic Winterbourne House and Garden in Edgbaston for two special outdoor performances on 5th and 6th July, with the promise that no audience members will be harmed in the making of these shows.

The cast will be entertaining you with their comedic homage to those quintessentially British whodunits. Was it the butler, or the impoverished Lady of the Manor? Did they use a candle stick or a feather duster to carry out their murderous antics? Or was it a staged accident involving a blunt spoon and a boiled egg?!

Members of the audience will be needed to join the professional performers and help unmask the murderer. Tickets are priced at £30 per person and include a Winterbourne Afternoon Tea and entertainment. Guests are invited to dress the part in 1920s costume, but this is optional!

The audience are welcome to arrive from 6pm, with afternoon tea served to your table. The performance will begin promptly at 7.30pm.

Foghorn’s Artistic Director, Kit Murdock, says, “Following our sell out 2018 run at Winterbourne House and Gardens we are excited to be invited back for another year of mayhem and murder! The stunning backdrop on a summer afternoon really brings the show to life, especially with our actors dressed in 1920’s attire to match the period of the house.

“Plus the weather forecast is looking for Friday and Saturday so you may need to bring the sun screen!”
