Spring Into Fishing is a six-event series around England across the South East, South West, the Midlands, Yorkshire and the North West, which aims to make angling accessible and introduce fishing to a new audience, with everybody welcome whatever age, ability or experience level.

The series, now in its third year, kicks off on 2ndd March, heading to Kingsbury Water Park two weeks later where families, friends and individuals of any angling ability have the chance to come down and take part in this free, fun outdoor activity day. Each attendee will spend time with an angling coach to learn more about fishing, how to fish and where to go. All equipment is provided so all you need to do is turn up and get fishing.

Starting at 10am and running until 2pm, the event is structured in pre-booked one-hour slots where visitors will receive coaching from the qualified Angling Trust coaches on site. Around the pre-booked slots visitors can enjoy a day full of events, activities and games on site.

Spring Into Fishing is run by the Angling Trust and funded by the Environment Agency to give you the chance to get outside, try fishing and learn new skills. Bring your friends, family and children – everybody’s welcome!

Never been fishing before? No problem – tackle, bait, instruction and info on fishing clubs and places to go are all included free. Or if you’ve tried fishing already then come and learn beginner’s skills from qualified licensed angling coaches. It doesn’t matter what age or ability – everybody’s welcome.

Parents and grandparents – bring the kids, have a go yourself and discover how fishing is a fun, exciting, cheap and healthy outdoor activity. It’s also a great excuse to enjoy the peace and quiet of nature…
