Cadbury World celebrates a festive hit

Record number of visitors enjoy a sweet Christmas at Cadbury World.

Cadbury World finished 2018 on a high after reaching a new visitor record for its Christmas events across November and December.

The popular Bournville-based attraction welcomed over 46,000 visitors to its yuletide celebrations – an 11% increase on last year’s figures and the highest in its 28-year history.

As well as a self-guided tour of Cadbury World’s chocolatey zones, guests enjoyed a magical entertainment programme including the much-loved Santa Show and the return of the attraction’s hit pantomime, Jack and the Cocoa Beanstalk.

Almost every weekend throughout the festive period was completely sold out, as well as all performances of the family favourite pantomime. Cadbury World’s much-loved Festive Afternoon Tea also proved incredibly popular, with 559 teas served between 17th November and 20th December.

Diane Mitchell, marketing manager at Cadbury World said: “We’re delighted that Cadbury World continues to be such a popular destination for families across the UK and that so many of them choose to celebrate the festive season with us.

“We look forward to welcoming them back to the attraction later this year to enjoy our brand new live shows and themed activities for 2019.”

Visitors still have the chance to catch the hit pantomime, Jack and the Cocoa Beanstalk, during selected weekends in January. For dates and to book tickets in advance, visit www.cadburyworld.co.uk.
