Brindleyplace on the hunt for next charity partners

City attraction has announced that applications for its 2019 charity partners are now open.

Local charities, both big and small, are being invited to apply to become a selected organisation for the popular estate to lend its support to over a twelve month period. 2019 is set to be an exciting year for Brindleyplace with an action-packed event schedule, which attract over 10,000 visitors to each event.

The chosen charities will all benefit from a range of invaluable support provided by Brindleyplace, including the opportunity to partner with a main event throughout the year, as well as the chance to host their own fundraising events on the estate free of charge.

Last year, Brindleyplace partnered with Cure Leukaemia, Birmingham St. Mary’s Hospice, Buddy Bag Foundation and The Royal Society for Blind Children, raising more than £60,000.

Stacey Muir, Marketing Executive at Brindleyplace, said: “With 10,000 employees working at the estate, over four million visitors a year to its many attractions and a jam-packed calendar of popular events, partnering with Brindleyplace is a great opportunity for local charities to showcase the work they do and raise their profile in the city.

“We’ve been able to work with some fantastic charities over the years helping them to raise as much money as possible in order to make a real difference to the lives of local people.

“It couldn’t be easier to apply, either. All we ask is for each organisation to complete an application form detailing what any funds raised will be put towards and how this will benefit the wider Birmingham community. With applications now open, we are looking forward to seeing what worthy causes will be throwing their names into the hat this year.”
