New members welcome at Erdington arena.
The largest bowls club on the north side of Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield and South Staffs will be holding its open day on Saturday 13th October. Around 150 potential bowlers and their families are expected for this, the biggest event of the club calendar.
Erdington Court has the only full size indoor arena south of Tamworth and has around 250 members of all ages enjoying its facilities each Autumn and Winter.
The open day is from 12 noon until 4pm. Entry is free and visitors can try their hand under the guidance of coaches and experienced players. They can also sign up for a free coaching course – and apply for on the day membership discounts.
Boston Bowls will be on hand selling bowls and bowls clothing and equipment.
Club sponsors will also be there including Johnsons Skoda cars, So Different offering cut price gas, electricity, broadband and phones (under the Utility Warehouse Banner), ‘Hidden Hearing’ who offer an NHS hearing service and Jarrod Morgan Financial Planning for investments and pensions and personal estate and inheritance advice.
