Birmingham Wine Weekend returns for 2019

Event back to take over you weekend with more wine.

After the great success of yet another Birmingham Cocktail Weekend this year, Living For The Weekend is back in the spotlight with another city favourite, Birmingham Wine Weekend. Birmingham Wine Weekend will be taking over the city for a second year from 22nd–24th March 2019 with more special events and new wines to enjoy.

Birmingham Wine Weekend showcases hand-picked venues across the city, with some of the best wine lists in Brum. The three-day festival will see beginners and connoisseurs alike come together to enjoy the city’s favourite wines and for 2019 Living For The Weekend promises even more events and some exciting developments to the festival!

For 2019 festival goers will purchase a £10 wristband that gives them access to a selection of £4 taster wines, £4 wine cocktails and £6 wine & canapé pairings across the
participating venues! In addition, lucky wristband wearers will have access to a great line up of exclusive events from tempting tastings to delicious dinners.

Wine lovers will be able to collect their wristbands and start their grape adventure from the Birmingham Wine Weekend Hub, which will be taking up residence at Hotel Du Vin once again.

Speaking about the second Birmingham Wine Weekend, founder of Living For The Weekend, Alex Nicholson-Evans, comments: “We are so proud to be bringing BWW back for 2019; last year’s debut was fantastic, and we were so pleased that it brought together hundreds of wine lovers from Birmingham and beyond! The feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive and we can’t wait for the next event to be another corker!

“This year has been phenomenal for Living for the Weekend and we couldn’t be more thankful to everyone who has supported us. We can’t wait to see what another year of Birmingham Wine Weekend holds but we’re already certain that it’s going to be the best yet.”
