Peter Pan flies into Birmingham – and needs you!

Auditions taking place for local cast members.

This summer, Experience Theatre presents JM Barrie’s timeless tale of mischief and make-believe at The Blue Orange Theatre.

You can join all of your favourite characters as Peter Pan, Wendy, Tinkerbell and the Lost Boys battle the terrifying pirates, to save Neverland from the dangerous Captain Hook. And there’s the chance to experience the magical adventure take flight with songs, dances, lots of fun and a sprinkling of fairy dust.

Experience Theatre are offering budding local actors the opportunity to be a part of this enchanting journey. They are looking for both young people aged 10-17 and adults 18+ to be in our big family-friendly production for this summer season.

On Saturday 21st July 2018, group auditions will be held for young people and local professional actors who are interested in appearing in the production, which will run from Thursday 16th August to Saturday 18th August 2018 at The Blue Orange Theatre.

They will also be auditioning the 10–17 year old group in the morning between 10am – 12.30pm. Young people will take part in a range of drama exercises and games and be asked to sing in a group. They are asked to wear comfortable clothes and footwear and bring along a bottle of water for refreshment. Previous experience in performing is not essential; they are looking for enthusiastic young actors, aged between 10 and 17 to play a range of roles.

Adults will be audtioned in the afternoon between 1.30pm–4.30pm. These will be in individual time slots and anyone taking part will be asked to read sides from the script and to bring a song to perform with a backing track.
