Supermassive Muse film comes to Light House

Wolverhampton date for acclaimed concert documentary.

Wolverhampton’s Light House Media Centre will be holding a special screening of internationally renowned rock band Muse’s Drones World Tour for one night only on Thursday 12th July.

The platinum selling and multi-award winning band embarked on their ambitious Drones World Tour in 2015-16, playing over 130 dates across the globe.

Known for pushing boundaries in terms of their stage production, the tour saw the band perform ‘in the round’ from the middle of the arena with the stage design giving fans a full 360 degree audio/visual sensory experience with innovative effects perfectly complimenting the band’s catalogue of hits including Plug in Baby, Supermassive Black Hole and Knights of Cydonia.

Filmed and recorded over multiple shows the concert movie includes an exclusive insight from the band themselves in the introduction.

Light House CEO Kelly Jeffs said of the screening, “Wolverhampton is full of live music fans looking for somewhere to go while the Civic Halls are being refurbished. Light House is always buzzing with music, from our iDJ and Open Mic nights to Royal Opera live broadcasts, and we’re looking forward to seeing what promises to be a spectacular show on our big screen.”

Tickets are on sale now, priced at £12/£11 concessions and can be booked at www.light-house.co.uk or on 01902716055. Screening starts at 8.20pm.
