Hollywood pop prodigy set to inspire local youth

American teen singer to visit schools.

Young people in the area are preparing for a once in a lifetime opportunity this week when a Hollywood pop star visits Hamstead Hall Academy, Cockshut Hill Academy and Wodensborough Ormiston Academy.

Hailing from La Canada in Los Angeles, 14-year-old singer-songwriter Peyton Shayler has already had a top 10 hit in the UK Club Charts, as part of a collaboration with London based production team HausUnited.

This week, Peyton will be visiting the area to perform in concert as part of the nationwide Aspire Tour, which has been created by leading artist development organisation The Famous Company. Over the past four years the Aspire Schools Program me has allowed thousands of young people across the UK to meet many inspirational artists, gaining valuable insight into the music and creative industries through fun and engaging presentations and performances.

The Famous Company is one of the world’s fastest growing service providers for the music industry. Since 2014, The Famous Company has provided an outlet for anyone wanting to progress a career within the music industry. Following a $1 million investment earlier this year The Famous Company, founded by music moguls Matt Allen and Benjamin Rees in 2014, have expanded to Los Angeles, signing Peyton as one of their first artists from the LA division.

Whilst in the area next week, Peyton will be also promoting her latest single, Needed Space. With the track already being played on radio stations across the UK, Peyton hopes to attract some new fans of her own during the three-week trip, excited to share her story and experiences with students her own age.

Speaking ahead of her visit next week Peyton said, “I was approached by The Famous Company with the idea of helping young people in the UK to aim higher with their aspirations. I have never visited the UK before, however I’m really excited to not only showcase my songs to young people here, but talk about going to school in California and being a teenager growing up in the United States”.

Needed Space is now available for pre-order on iTunes, to be released on 30th March 2018.
