New Mailbox appointment aims to boost communication

High-end retail complex appoints RileyRaven as Lead Creative Agency.

The region’s leading luxury retail destination has appointed a new agency to reinforce and build their communications, whilst growing awareness of a new collection of stores unique to the city which will be launched later this year.

Following a two year makeover and a relaunch in 2015, the Mailbox is home to a variety of luxurious stores including Harvey Nichols, Hugo Boss, Armani Collezioni, Calvin Klein Underwear, Tommy Hilfiger, alongside a number of bars and restaurants including Tom’s Kitchen – owned by Michelin star chef, Tom Aikens.

RileyRaven is joint owned by Managing Director Andrew Riley and Creative Director Mike Raven. Their business won the prestigious contract following a tough selection process involving three other high profile agencies.

Andrew Riley commented: “We’re absolutely thrilled to have won the Mailbox contract and believe our wealth of experience of the retail sector and region will build upon the work already achieved, delivering more visitors to the Mailbox and the city.”

David Pardoe, Head of Marketing, Retail and Tenant Engagement, said: “The appointment of RileyRaven marks a new and exciting era for the Mailbox. Their creative direction was relevant and emotive, demonstrating a high level of ingenuity. Their vision is to build upon our current core audience and communicate with a new and developing customer base.”

Samantha Robinson, Head of Brand and Customer Engagement from London-based joint owners, Milligan commented: “We value regional talent and knowledge; RileyRaven will also work alongside Rewired who’ve worked with Mailbox since 2013 and BBJ&K, a newly appointed media planning and buying agency.”

The core creative ideas will be kept under wraps until a later date, but the RileyRaven campaign will utilise all media channels including outdoor, TV, digital and print.
