The Magical Lands event is coming back to Selly Manor Museum in Bournville on Saturday 13th May after 1,300 people flocked to it last year.

Visitors will once again get to meet characters like Snow White, Peter Pan, Cinderella and Jack & his beanstalk as they tour the historic Manor house. They will also be able to conjure up potions at a School of Wizardry, have a go at archery with Robin Hood and enjoy Arabian Nights-themed storytelling sessions. There will also be a walking‘magic lamp trail taking families around the beautiful Bournville village, which was founded by chocolate-maker George Cadbury.

Daniel Callicott, Manager of the Museum, said: “Magical Lands was one of our most successful events last year and we’re really pleased to be working with Busy Parents Network again to bring it back for a second time. We’ve added some new characters and experiences to this year’s event and hope to make it even more memorable and enjoyable for the whole family.”

The event is organised in association with the award-winning community social enterprise Busy Parents Network and sponsored by Robert Oulsnam. Tickets cost £6 per person or £20 for a family ticket (one adult and three children OR two adults, two children) and you can book onto a morning (10am-1pm) or afternoon (1.30pm-4.30pm) time slot.
