Kings Heath Great Easter Egg Hunt launched

Return of family attraction for school holidays.

Kings Heath Business Improvement District are hopping into Easter early over half term, by inviting local children to decorate Easter eggs in preparation for the return of the popular Kings Heath Great Easter Egg Hunt this Spring.

The beautifully decorated Easter Eggs will be displayed in shops, cafes, and businesses up and down Kings Heath, as part of the annual free family fun taking place throughout the Easter school holidays, from Friday 7th April until Sunday 23rd April 2017.

Parents can pick up the Easter egg templates to take home and decorate from local businesses Togademus, I Had One Of Those, Cooshoo, Armadillo, Kings Heath Library, the Village Square Cafe, Maison Mayci, Loco Lounge, Kitchen Garden Cafe, Costa, and Love 2 Lounge, with some even providing colouring pencils for the little ones to decorate in store.

As well as the trail, Kings Heath BID plans to create an Easter egg art exhibition in community spaces for local families to enjoy, with local schools also joining in the seasonal fun throughout the next school term.

Kings Heath BID Town Centre Manager Martin Mullaney, said: “The Kings Heath Great Easter Egg Hunt is always a big hit with families and children over the Easter holidays, and as always, we need the little ones help to decorate the Easter Eggs that will be used for the trail! If you’re looking for a free activity to keep the kids entertained over half term, pop into one of our participating businesses and pick up an Easter Egg template – children are welcome to decorate as many Easter Eggs as they like, but remember, the more bold and bright they are the easier they will be to spot in the trail and exhibition!”

Easter Egg templates will be available to pick up from participating businesses from Monday 20th February, and decorated Easter Eggs must be returned to a participating business no later than March 31st.
