In a better-late-than-never nod to the Bard’s 400th anniversary, the ‘bad boys of abridgement’ present this new play by the man himself, as discovered in a Leicester car park.

In this strange-yet-familiar tale, an ancient grudge pits Puck (from A Midsummer Night’s Dream) against Ariel (from The Tempest) and turns Shakespeare’s canon upside-down. Stories collide, as Dromio meets Juliet and Hamlet crosses paths with the manipulative Lady Macbeth. Expect mistaken identities, unsettled ghosts, magical spells, questionable potions, powerful tempests and devastating shipwrecks in this tour-de-force comedy.

Reed Martin and Austin Tichenor, the brains behind Williams Shakespeare’s Long Lost First Play (Abridged) said: “This is our interpretation of what we wish Shakespeare’s long lost play would be.
