Snow Hill station to introduce queueing system

Aim to reduce problems for weekend rail travellers.

London Midland is introducing a queueing system at Birmingham Snow Hill station from today, Friday 9th December.

The system will be in place from 1800 to 2000 hours on Friday and Saturday evenings for the next two weekends. Measures are being put in place to help commuters and shoppers during the run up to the festive period.

London Midland’s head of Snow Hill services, Brenda Lawrence said, “With the Christmas markets in full swing trains are getting very busy. We want everyone to enjoy the festivities and travel comfortably. So the advice is to avoid catching the train between 1800 and 2000 hours on a Friday or Saturday, if you can, and allow more time for your journey.”
