Taking place in The Bandstand from 11am until 4pm on Saturday 10th and 17th December, local choirs and talented musicians will be performing traditional Christmas carols alongside a number of festive favourites.

Children on the nice list can also get an early Christmas present with a visit to Santa’s Grotto, outside All Bar One, for a suggested donation of £2. All donations will go towards projects funded by Heart Research UK at Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

Alex Perrins, Marketing Executive at Brindleyplace, said: “We’re on the countdown to Christmas at Brindleyplace and our charity concerts are one of my favourite parts of the festivities, with fun for the whole family. Santa and his elves will be giving out gifts in the grotto accompanied by carols, courtesy of the choirs in The Bandstand.

“Heart Research UK is a fantastic cause, funding medical research projects into the prevention, treatment and cure of heart disease right here in the Midlands and, as one of our chosen charities, we’re hoping to raise a significant amount of money this year – it’s the season of goodwill after all!”

As well as hosting Santa’s Grotto, All Bar One will be offering exclusive food and drink deals to coincide with the charity Christmas concerts, so visitors can join in the festive sing-along and eat, drink and be merry at Brindleyplace this season.

Guests are also invited to gather round in Central Square and admire the Brindleyplace Christmas tree, which is joined this year by a stunning 5 metre tall Christmas lantern, based on an artistic interpretation of the popular nursery rhyme There Was an Old Woman who Lived in a Shoe. Donated by Weli Creative, the tailor made lantern has been brought over from China as part of the Magical Lantern Festival taking place at The Botanical Gardens.
