Yeah, yeah, yeah (writes Sir Howard), the neverendum (I stole that). But for you people too stupid to see the forest through the trees, here is a summary of the big burning questions and how the Remain and Leave lobbies see things: (yeah, I stole that from a magazine).

What the Leave side warns if we stay in the EU:

• The economy will crash
• Immigration will explode leaving hundreds of thousands of foreigners scrounging off our hard pressed benefit system
• Our hospitals will be destroyed
• Terrorism will reign supreme
• England will lose the World Cup (again)
• Global warming will kill us
• We will have a better relationship with the US, our special friend
