Beauty finalists to Clean for the Queen

Miss Birmingham finalists to help clean-up initiative.

Miss Birmingham finalists will begin the duel for the 2016 crown this weekend as they meet for the first time in Victoria Square at 12 noon for a Press Call for the National Clean for the Queen Initiative.

Birmingham City Council have asked the bevy of beauties to help in the Birmin-gum Free Initiative as they help tidy the streets of Birmingham, starting at Victoria Square. The 40 Finalists in the competition have to prove their worth in community work, charity and publicity as they fight for separate awards, bagging themselves the prestigious title of Miss Birmingham in the glittering catwalk showdown on the 20th March 2016 at the Burlington Hotel.

Rachael Barker, Miss England Regional Director and Former Miss Birmingham says “It’s amazing that the City Council have got behind the competition and want to work alongside the Finalists. The fact the girls are all so willing to help with community work shows their determination to make the City a better place, and helping to become the best Miss Birmingham they can be.”

The Miss Birmingham Finalists will be joined by; Rachael Barker, the Regional Director, alongside Rachael Butler, Miss United Kingdom 1996 and Head Judge for the Miss Birmingham Finals, Lord Mayor of Birmingham Cllr Ray Hassell as well as Headline Sponsors Beyond Beauty Clinic, Mr Birmingham 2016 Joshua Williams, Mr England 2015 Christopher Bramell, Miss Worcestershire 2016 Laura Beth Morgan and Morgan Koronis amongst other names.
