Students from Birmingham City University will be producing and broadcasting 12 hours of news sessions, documentaries, dramas, interviews, popular game shows and more, from Birmingham City University’s ground-breaking TV studios.

The livestream will be held on March 2nd 2016, from 9am–9pm. Audiences are invited to watch live on the Scratch Media Week website as the day, packed with entertainment, unfolds.

Special guests include filmmaker (director, producer) Brian Yuzna, presenter Andy Akinwolere, in addition to live music from artists around Birmingham. As well as collaborative sessions with Beetfreaks TV, MA Acting and TV and the Students’ Union, Scratch TV will also be hosting their take on everybody’s favourite game shows: Countdown, University Challenge and Question Time.

Scratch Media Week began in 2015 as a collaboration between four media groups to create projects in a week together that pushes boundaries, and allows groups to create exciting media products.

Birmingham City University pride themselves on their cutting-edge facilities, including the largest university TV studio, in which the livestream will be held.
