A new book club will be launched in Walsall later this month.
The club will be taking place at Southcart Books, Walsall’s only independent bookshop, on the last Saturday of every month, from 11am–1pm on the last Saturday of the month. There will be a free hot drink for everyone who takes part, and there will also be a selection of cakes available to purchase.
There will be a guest author each month and kicking off proceedings on Saturday 30th January 2015 will be Walsall’s own Lucy Onions, who will be talking about and reading from her current book, Shout the Call, which is available to buy now at Southcart Books for £7.99.
The club is open to anyone who loves books and likes to have a good old chat about them. As well as concentrating on a different local author each month, all club members will be encouraged to talk about their favourite books and/or what they’re currently reading.
