Happening at Artrix

Theatre, comedy and bringing in the New Year.

There’s no better way to brighten up an autumn evening than seeing some comedy theatre and there are two opportunities to do just that in the Artrix Studio this month.

Glorilla, which is at Artrix on 14th November, is the new show from female comedy double-act Spitz & Co following their award-winning run of Gloriator.

Taking their cues from film noir, gangland Britain and the clowning tradition (yes, really) the critically-acclaimed Pantaloons Theatre Company put their own contemporary spin on Shakespeare’s most dangerous play on 17th November Tragic and hilarious in equal measures, this innovative take on Macbeth features high-speed chases, femmes fatales, killer lines, killer crimes and some seriously weird sisters.

Spitz and Co present Glorilla at Artrix Studio on Saturday 14th November at 7.30 pm. Tickets cost £12.00 (£10.00). The Pantaloons present Macbeth in the Artrix Studio on Tuesday 17th November at 8.00 pm. Tickets cost £14.00 (£12.00)
