Character Weekend at Cadbury World

Meet your chocolate favourites.

Caramel Bunny and Mr Cadbury's Parrot at Cadbury World

Some familiar faces will be heading to Cadbury World next weekend, as Freddo, Creme Egg, Caramel Bunny and Mr Cadbury’s Parrot return to the attraction for Character Weekend.

Visitors of all ages will have the chance to meet and greet some of the nation’s favourite faces between 11am and 4pm on 21st and 22nd March at the Bournville based attraction. Appearing at regular intervals throughout the day, visitors also have the opportunity to pose for photographs alongside the iconic Cadbury characters.

Visitors can catch the characters in action in the new 4D Chocolate Adventure zone, an interactive cinema experience complete with motion seats. With the opportunity to experience the feeling of diving into a pot of melted Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate, ride the Crunchie Rollercoaster and take to the skies in a Cadbury Creme Egg airship piloted by the Caramel Bunny, the 4D zone is a must-see during your visit.

With 14 zones to explore throughout the attraction, Cadbury World has plenty to offer. From hearing about the fascinating story of Cadbury chocolate and watching a chocolatier in action in the popular Chocolate Making zone, to meeting the infamous drumming gorilla in Advertising Avenue and taking a ride on Cadabra, Cadbury World brings the magic of chocolate to life.

Diane Mitchell, marketing manager at Cadbury World, said: “Visitors love seeing the stars of the 4D Chocolate Adventure in action, then getting the chance to meet them in person too. They really help to bring Cadbury World to life, and they are very popular visitors throughout the year!”

With lots more on offer, including the World’s Biggest Cadbury Shop, stocked with all the Cadbury favourites, as well as the Cadbury Café and African Adventure play area for children, the attraction’s 25th anniversary year promises to be its best ever.

Cadbury World offers a variety of events throughout the year, including a brand new Sooty Show for 2015. There’s also the exciting Easter Eggstravaganza from 3rd – 6th April, where visitors can enjoy an Easter Egg Trail through the attraction, as well as having the chance to win Cadbury World prizes in a creative Easter bonnet competition.
