Alongside the main exhibition, a series of professional clinics will be running, offering visitors expert help and tips including free CV consultation, an Interview Clinic and Career Advice Lounge as well as a Professional Development Hub supported by the Engineering Council and many leading industry institutions.

The Professional Development Hub is open to all visitors, giving them the chance to meet representatives from major engineering industry institutions and discover how they might help with continuous professional development*. It is a popular element during the exhibition and provides valuable advice on professional registration and personal career development.

Additionally, the ever-popular Women in Engineering Forum will take place on Friday 4th April offering women the opportunity to speak, meet and discuss with their peers the benefits of working in the industry as well as the chance to network with potential employers. The forum will begin with presentations from two inspiring female engineers, followed by a networking lunch.

For university students, the Engineering Challenge gives teams of students from universities across the country the chance to compete against each other to design, build and test their inventions in a challenging task to win a prize of £500.
