Birmingham’s most diverse district is spreading Christmas joy to its visitors this season with an array of festivities.

On Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd December, Santa will be welcoming visitors with some seasonal sweeties from Mr Chill’s Traditional Sweet Emporium. Visitors to the district will have the chance to pose with friends and family in festive cut-out boards whilst basking in the delight of seasonal atmosphere under the Christmas tree.

Christmas wouldn’t be complete without a bit of sparkle from Birmingham Hippodrome’s pantomime, and this year’s offering of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves promises to be a barrel of laughs for all the family. Starring John Partridge as the handsome Prince, Gok Wan as the Man in the Mirror and Gary Wilmot as the pantomime Dame, the exciting show will take to the stage from Thursday 19th December until 2nd February 2014.

The Old Rep Theatre will be home to Birmingham Stage Company’s Christmas production of Tom’s Midnight Garden from 13th November until 25th January 2014. Tom has always believed it’s not possible to travel back in time, but when the grandfather clock in the hallway chimes thirteen times, he is transported to a secret garden from the past where he is taken on a strange but magical adventure.

There’s a great selection of festive favourites on the Electric Cinema’s silver screen this season. Christmas classics including A Wonderful Life and White Christmas will be playing throughout the season, so come and sit back, relax and make an occasion of it with The Electric Cinema’s comfy sofa seating and ‘Text Waiter Service’ available throughout the film.
