School to meet and greet at Edgbaston

Opportunities for prospective parents to examine top local school. 

Parents of young boys and girls are being invited to discuss the opportunities of an outstanding senior school education at Solihull School at a ‘Meet and Greet’ Information Evening to be held at Edgbaston Cricket Ground on Wednesday, September 18.

Headmaster David E J J Lloyd and his Senior Team will be at the world-class sporting venue to talk about the advantages of an education at the leading independent school including its Stretch and Challenge and Scholars Programmes and its substantial provision for Academic, Sports and Music Scholarships and Assisted Places.

Solihull School, which educates boys and girls aged 7-18 years and provides transport from many parts of the West Midlands and Warwickshire, is also holding an Open Morning at its Warwick Road campus on Saturday, September 28 from 10am to noon.

The School achieved record-breaking results in GCSE exams this year, with more than three-quarters of all grades at A* or A. Sixty per cent of its A-Level entries were awarded A* or A grades and 11 pupils won places at Oxford or Cambridge universities.
