Wednesday night sees the return of one of the Robin’s most popular acts, Martin Turner’s Wishbone Ash. More than forty years after their formation, the band remain one of the most popular and had-working British blues rock bands on the circuit, performing to appreciative audiences around the world. Tickets £13.50

On Thursday there’s Journey 2 Toto, a tribute to two of the biggest AOR bands in the world. Tickets £10

Friday night has another tribute act, Maetloaf & the Never Neverland Express on stage. Tickets £8.50

On Saturday there’s a memorial concert for Andrew Spencer of local band the New Saints, who died last year after a battle with cancer. Rock For Spon 2 features the New Saints & friends, Steve Marks, Shyne, Broken English, Junk Monkey and Mutiny with proceeds going to Compton Hospice and Cancer Research. Tickets £6

Sunday sees another collection of Robin veterans in the shape of Space Ritual, a band comprising former Hawkwind members including saxophonist Nik Turner and other founders of the legendary space rockers. Not just just revisiting their past, the band also perform their own compositions and have a studio album scheduled for release in 2013. Tickets £15
