United Airlines celebrates 15 years at Birmingham Airport

United Airlines’ celebrity chef James ‘Chef Jimmy’ Canora entertained the airline’s customers at Warwick Castle on last week in celebration of 15 years’ service from Birmingham to New York/Newark.

Since United inaugurated its New York/Newark daily nonstop service in 1997, more than 1.5 million customers have travelled on the route.

The flights are conveniently timed to provide connections beyond New York/Newark to cities across North, Central and South America and the Caribbean.

From its Newark Liberty hub, United offers flights to more than 300 destinations across the Americas including more than 100 served nonstop.
