The company, acclaimed as Europe’s premier precious metal dealer and based in the heart of the city’s famous Jewellery Quarter, has opened a state-of-the-art showroom displaying thousands of loose gems and set items – arguably the largest and most competitively priced offering to the Trade in the UK.

The Bullion Room, part of Birmingham-based international investment company JEEG Global Group, is renowned for its expertise in processing and recycling scrap gold, silver and platinum.

Eamon Gaughan, founder and CEO said:  “This is a new initiative which will enable our trade colleagues to purchase diamond and gemstone jewellery at unbeatable wholesale prices.

“We are confident our prices are the most competitive anywhere and the selection second to none.”

The Bullion Room’s Diamond Showroom is managed by Ben Johnson, the third generation of Birmingham’s long-established family jewellers Rex Johnson & Sons.

His father, David, an expert in diamonds and antique jewellery for more than 40 years is also a Director.

They are supported by a fully-trained team of specialists including Faye Barnett who previously worked with Tennants Auctioneers in North Yorkshire.

Ben said: “Since we opened just a few weeks ago we have been overwhelmed by the response from the trade who say they have been impressed by the outstanding value, extensive selection of items, very personal service.

“It is really worth a visit to the Showroom to see just what is on offer.”
