Today is International Ataxia Awareness Day

Ataxia UK is the national charity that supports everyone affected by ataxia. For most ataxias, there is no cure, and research shows that just 7% of people in the UK have even heard of ataxia.

AtaxiaInternational Ataxia Awareness Day on Tuesday 25 September will see the launch a new campaign, ‘2020 Vision’. The target is a cure for one or all of the ataxias by the year 2020.

Birmingham City Centre event

Ataxia UK West Midlands Birmingham Branch will be giving the campaign full support.

You can find them at St. Phillip’s Cathedral in Colmore Row from 10am-3pm on Tuesday 25 September 2012.
