Steve Watson has been appointed as the company’s new  Technical Director.  Leaving university as a qualified software engineer and with over 15 years experience within the IT service industry, Steve’s new role is to oversee and manage the technical resources of Netmetix and its customers.

Further strengthening the Netmetix team is the appointment of Greig Schofield as Sales Manager. Greig is responsible for the sales and marketing of the company and brings with him 15 years experience in many areas of the IT sector.

These appointments come hot-on-the-heels of administrator Kelly Matthews recently joining the team and are a direct response to the demand Netmetix has been receiving for its cloud computing product Cloudmetix, managed services, and IT support. At a time when cloud computing is a popular topic amongst businesses, Netmetix is continuing to develop products that provide businesses with enhanced IT flexibility, security and scalability.

More recently the business held a successful seminar attended by over 40 delegates which demystified the concept of cloud computing. Getting across the benefits of the cloud computing, the free seminar featured a guest appearance from Professor Brian Moore, an expert in IT security from Coventry University and Martin King-Turner from B2B, a business IT consultant who advises companies on the best systems for their business.

Paul Blore, Managing Director of Netmetix Ltd said: “We are delighted to have added two new members to our senior management team. These appointments will help us to drive the business forward even further over the coming months and is testament to the rapid progress the business has made over the last few years.”
