What’s on at the Robin

Some interesting new arrivals is part of the answer.

Richie KotzenTonight sees the first time at the Robin for guitarist/singer/songwriter Richie Kotzen. Formerly with the bands Poison and Mr Big, Richie has also worked with some of the biggest names in modern jazz and opened for the Rolling Stones on part of their 2006 world tour. His latest album, 24 Hours, was released last year. Tickets £15

On Wednesday night the Grammy nominated (and multiple award-winning) singer-songwriter Gretchen Peters performs. One of the biggest names on the modern country scene and a songwriter for such diverse names as Etta James, Neil Diamond and Bryan Adams, her latest album Hello Cruel World came out earlier this year.  Tickets £15

There’s a new arrival on Thursday in the shape of rock-fusion supergroup the Aristocrats. Featuring guitarist Guthrie Govan, drummer Marco Minneman and bassist Bryan Beller, the band were formed in January 2011 and released their self-titled first album in September.  Tickets £12.50

Springsteen tribute Glory Days are at the Robin on Friday. Tickets £9

On Saturday there’s a Paul Weller in all his guises tribute, the Modfathers. Tickets £8

Sunday sees Slim Chance, the band formed by the late bass player Ronnie Lane, performing material he wrote for them after leaving the Faces. Tickets £15
