This week at the Robin

Blues bands of varying kinds and tribute acts come to Bilston. 


Monday night sees a Halloween special with Siouxsie & the Banshees tribute Next Step. Tickets £10.

On Tuesday there’s a different-looking night in prospect with the arrival of the Reverend Payton’s Big Damned Band. This country-blues band from Indiana are touring to promote their latest album Peyton on Patton, a collection of songs from delta blues original Charley Patton.  Tickets £9.

Wednesday night has the return of psychedelic blues singer/guitarist Edgar Broughton to the Robin. Tickets £10.

On Thursday there’s Yes tribute Fragile. Tickets £10.

Friday sees U2 tribute Achtung Baby. Tickets £10 (see the Robin website for special offer)

Marc Bolan tribute T Rextasy are at the Robin on Saturday. Tickets £12.

Sunday sees the return of Robin favourites the jazz-prog-folk-rock Dutch legends Focus, still fronted by the yodelling Thijs van Leer. Tickets £15.

Forthcoming Robin attractions in November include Mott the Hoople and Bad Company original Mick Ralphs (8th), It’s Only Rock’n’Roll featuring Brumrock veterans including Bev Bevan and Trevor Burton (10th), and Brit folk band Bellowhead (12th).
